Who we are

The Zookie Language Project is run by Rodney Shorette. It publishes Spanish-learning audio and video on YouTube. This policy covers this website and the Zookie Uploader, a small desktop program that publishes the project's own videos to its own YouTube channel.

What the Zookie Uploader does

The Zookie Uploader uses the YouTube Data API to upload videos, captions and thumbnails, and to add videos to playlists, on the Zookie Language Project channel only. It is used by the channel owner and is not offered to the public.

It asks for permission to manage the owner's YouTube videos. That permission is used only to publish and organize the channel's own videos.
The sign-in token Google issues is stored only on the owner's computer. It is not sent anywhere else.
It does not read, collect, store or share information about viewers or any other YouTube users.
It does not use Google user data for advertising, and it does not sell or transfer that data to anyone.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it does not collect personal information. If you email us, your message is used only to reply to you.

YouTube and Google

The Zookie Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By using YouTube you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your information is handled under the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove the Zookie Uploader's access to a Google account at any time on the Google security settings page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
